What is the Lottie JSON Downloader?

Lottie animations are small JSON files made in After Effects with the Bodymovin plugin. Websites use them for smooth, light animations. A newer .lottie format zips them even smaller.

This tool looks for Lottie players, data attributes and animation paths in the page's code, then checks each file to make sure it is a real Lottie animation. For each one you see the pixel size, length, frame rate and number of layers, and you can download them all as a ZIP.

How to use it

  1. Paste the address of the page with the animation.
  2. Press Find animations.
  3. Check the list of real Lottie files we found.
  4. Download them as a ZIP.

Open it on lottiefiles.com, or use the lottie-web or dotlottie player on your own site.
Why was no animation found?
Some sites bundle animations inside their JavaScript files or load them only when you scroll. We cannot see those.
Can I use downloaded animations?
Only if the licence allows it. Many LottieFiles animations are free with credit; others are paid.
