What is the SVG Asset Downloader?

SVG images are sharp at any size, which makes them perfect for logos and icons. Many sites put SVGs straight into the HTML (inline), so there is no file to right-click and save.

This tool finds SVG files in images, links, objects and sprites, and also every inline <svg> in the page. Inline SVGs are turned into proper standalone files. Scripts and event handlers are removed for safety. Preview them all and download everything in one ZIP.

How to use it

  1. Paste the address of the page.
  2. Tick Also look in CSS files to find SVG backgrounds too.
  3. Press Find SVGs and preview the results.
  4. Download all SVGs, or only files or only inline ones.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use SVG icons from other sites?
Logos and brand icons are usually protected. Open source icon sets (like Lucide or Heroicons) have licences that allow reuse.
Why do some icons look blank?
Inline icons often use currentColor, so they take the text colour of the page. Open the file and set a fill colour.
Is there a limit?
We save up to 300 inline SVGs and 60 SVG files per ZIP.
