What is the School Admission Age Calculator?
Under the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), a child should be 6 years old for Class 1. Before that come three years of foundation classes: Nursery (Balvatika 1) at 3+, LKG (Balvatika 2) at 4+ and UKG (Balvatika 3) at 5+. Age is counted on a cutoff date, which is 31 March in KVS, many CBSE schools and many states.
