What is the Telegram File Type Filter?

Busy channels mix photos, videos, voice notes and documents. This tool scans the channel and groups everything by file type, like .pdf, .zip, .mp4 or .jpg.

Tap a type to see only those files. Then download the media files, open documents in Telegram, or export the filtered list as CSV.

Why can I not download some PDFs or ZIP files?
Telegram shows only the name and size of files on its public web page, not the file itself. For those we give you an "Open in app" button that takes you straight to the post in Telegram.
How far back can it go?
Pick up to 200 posts, then press "Load older posts" to keep going.
Can I use it for private groups or chats?
No. Only public channels have a web preview. Private groups, chats and channels need a Telegram login, and we never ask for one.
Do you keep the files?
No. Photos and videos go straight from Telegram to your browser. Nothing is saved on our server.
